Modular Design

The BioDAQ mounting hardware is interchangeable between food
and water intake modules allowing for flexibility in study design.
You can choose to run FOOD alone, FOOD + WATER,
FOOD + FOOD or WATER + WATER.

The mounting hardware is also interchangeable between Unplugged and electronic systems making upgrades quick and easy. Simply remove the Unplugged adapter by loosening two phillips head screws and replace it with an electronic PSC.

Flexibility

Adding to the flexibility of the system, the BioDAQ PSC can be used for either food or water intake modules with both rats or mice.  The BioDAQ hardware is appropriately sized for mouse and rat systems, but is modular in design and able to be used in different configurations according to the requirements of particular study.
