Interchangeable

The BioDAQ mounting hardware is interchangeable between FOOD and WATER intake modules allowing for flexibility in study design. You can choose to run FOOD + WATER, FOOD + FOOD or WATER + WATER.

The mounting hardware is also interchangeable between Unplugged and electronic systems making upgrades quick and easy. Simply remove the Unplugged adapter by loosening two phillips head screws and replace it with an electronic PSC.

Manual Gate

The BioDAQ hardware features a manually operated gate which closes to shut off access to food or water while hoppers are sent to cage wash. The gate can be closed with the hopper attached for fasting the animals.

Rapid Mount

The BioDAQ mounting hardware is designed with efficiency in mind. The Rapid Mount clip allows for quick one hand removal and assembly to the cage during animal husbandry procedures saving valuable time.

Safe for Cage Wash

All BioDAQ hardware components are made from stainless steel or polycarbonate materials safe for cage wash and autoclave applications.
